Air17 is a special piece of firefighting apparatus used by firefighters to provide supplemental SCBA air bottles at the scene of an emergency. SCBA stands for self-contained breathing apparatus. SCBA’s are the foundational tool that provides the greatest amount of airway protection from toxic gas and harmful particulates resulting from a fire.
